Iqrup + Ritz is founded by mother and daughter duo Iqrup + Ritika (Ritz) Dhamija.
The best ideas brew over time…When the 'Ritz of Iqrup + Ritz couldn’t find the right furniture for her apartment, our response was to create a contemporary design brand focused on quality and accessibility. The legacy of Iqrup Design our sister company, founded in 1985 to create luxury interiors and bespoke classical furniture, made us believe that we had a role to play. The gap in the market and our growing desire to keep alive the age old craft of hand making furniture triggered us into action.
The response has been great. Since then furnished corporate headquarters in Hyderabad, a showroom in Bombay a holiday home in Kasauli and residences in Delhi, Gurgaon, Baroda, Ludhiana and Calcutta. We’ve also sold our first pieces to customers in London, Vienna, Dubai and Harare!
Iqrup + Ritz has also been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor and many other publications. Highlights include the ‘Peggy’ on the cover of Platform magazine and being interviewed alongside our design crush Jonathan Adler in India Today.
We work between factories across the globe, our spacious offices in Gurgaon and a cosy office in London. We’re a small team held together by a shared goal for creating excellent products and pushing boundaries. It is challenging at times but we won’t trade it for the world.
